Water star signs
Let me first start by stating that this isn't an article about which sign is better or worse, because that is never the case. Each star sign in astrology, has their own unique talents and skills, and as a reminder, we all have every star sign within us divided into 12 houses of a birth chart. Some signs more prominent that others.
Water signs have the ability to feel like the depths of the ocean, expand and retreat like the tides, and move with an adaptability that societal norms may deem as unfocused and unintentional. But, of course, the last part is very much an untruth, and only a naive judgement on the wisdom that water holds.
Qualities of water
Ruled by the moon, the water of the sea and its connecting counterparts, ebbs and flows with its cyclical phases.
What about the water within us?
You think that isn't effected too? Think again.
Even if you are not predominantly a water sign.
We all have WATER within us.
Do you resist, or do you allow it to move with the tides of life? Pulled by the energies of the cosmos above, which effect our own individual placements within our astrology charts - daily, weekly, monthly, yearly.
You think you have control??? (I am sorry but its laughable to believe that any of us do in this case).
Or have you been so conditioned to believe that without force, being at one with the "unpredictability" yet guidance of nature is wrong and lazy?

-confused and clear
-open and closed
Somewhere in between ..... is that allowed? Or are you constantly using your energy to chase yourself away from anything that isn't planted by "others" as "good", "positive".... "likeable"
Water is:
- Free and flowing
- Here and there
- Supportive and obnoxious
- Nourishing and disturbing
- Shallow and heavy
- Deep and light
- Guiding and clashing
It cant be tamed, but it can be invited.
If we look at these opposing qualities, generally one finds it hard to sit with the other.
But thats the point. Like water, we are both as humans, and also everything in between.
The beauty of water star signs is that they do not shy away from acknowledging all the complexities of emotions we are as humans, including the dualities that manifest into things that we don't even have a name for. They may not show the emotions, but they feel and acknowledge their presence as part of life, which isn't predominance of the other signs.
When we are merged, isn't that watered?
Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces
These water signs have the beauty of the water qualities in common, and yet ,they all have different modality traits - one is cardinal, one is fixed and one is a mutable sign.
Cancer is cardinal- giving us this self starting and initiating drive, a deep set enterprising and pioneering quality and majorly creative in thought patterns, ideas and endeavours on this earth.
Scorpio is fixed, showcasing a pursistancy that cannot be wavered, a resistance to change that is unbeatable, solid and sustaining in energy and goals, and overall a very stable sign when in balance.
Pisces is mutable bringing an incredible adaptability to situations, is always curious and learning, with no shortage of flexibility in pursuits and ideas.
Together they have the same hidden strengths of transforming situations into purpose.
Cancer is ruled by the moon - seeing through the veil of illusion and shapeshifting and nurturing the obstacles in its path
Scorpio is ruled by Mars and Pluto - the building block, moving through crevices bit by bit, clearing debris and building strong foundations that can wear any storm
Pisces is ruled by Neptune but also Jupiter in some astrology- foresees the future and is connected to the guides of higher ground, and therefore is able to trust the process of acceptance and move through it with ease
The beauty of water
In understanding the water signs in astrology, we can see how their watery efforts are made up of a sensitivity of energetic shifts, the ability to listen beyond what is said, a trusting in their given individual skills (although it may not be perceived that way), besides an inner faith that is driven by higher forces - enabling them to be moved towards the highest good and truest potential with what seems like ease.
No wonder they always seem to come out on top, without seemingly "doing" anything.
