Uranus In Taurus For 8 years
Saturn in Aries is just around the corner.
You can refresh yourself or read all it HERE , if you haven’t already. But there’s something even bigger on the horizon. And yes, this is something you should be genuinely excited about.
I’m going to explain exactly what this is, while still staying aligned with the overarching theme of Aquarius season, which is ruled by Uranus — the planet of disruption, awakening, and radical reinvention.
To put it simply:
The most destabilising planet (Uranus) has been sitting in Taurus for the last eight years. Yes — a full eight years.
This is not a transit you casually bypass in astrology. Uranus transiting Taurus has been a major, life-altering cycle, in particular to whichever house Taurus rules in your chart.
For me that has been my 10th house of career, public identity, reputation, and purpose.
What’s coming next is reinvention and re-emergence.
I call this period “The Comeback.”
And speaking from personal experience — it’s more than deserved.
So what does Uranus in the Taurus actually mean?
Let’s break it down — simply — because this transit is one hell of a destabilising ride. And maybe at some point in your lifetime, you will have it in a dominant house, and at the very least, you’ll be prepared — and less likely to feel like immediately terminating your soul contract without compensation.
(Yes. It really has felt that intense for me and here's why)
All About Uranus
The way I would describe Uranus is this: it’s the person who has a crush on you but doesn’t want you to know, so instead they do strange, confusing things until you finally figure it out. Only then — when you are 1000% certain — do they even consider making a move.
Oh, but Uranus won’t make it that easy.
Because just as you step forward with conviction, dedication, loyalty, and commitment, you might suddenly be ghosted — as if you were part of a disappearing magician’s act. You’re left questioning everything: the connection, your judgement, love, humanity, and even your own mental stability.
You pick yourself up, try something new, and Uranus steps in again — removing it — just to check whether you really want what you say you want. Whether you are truly living from soul alignment and your unique power, rather than ego or conditioning… even if it was actually aligned for you.
Challenging. Confusing. Disorientating. Destabilising.
Hard love that demands individuality and a broad minded perspective — that’s Uranus in a nutshell.
All About Taurus
The Bull. Generous, loving, sensual. Slow and deliberate, sometimes delayed because of stubbornness when flexibility or compromise may be required. Grounded, weighted, lingering, indulgent.
Ruled by Venus — the planet of love and money — Taurus lives by how it feels. It prioritises self nourishment before giving to others. Happier at home or guided by inner needs rather than external demands.
It enjoys simple but high quality pleasures. Food, comfort, and nourishment in all forms are essential. Self love, self respect, self worth, self belief. Trusting its own ability rather than seeking approval.
Tell Taurus what to do and you’ll see defensiveness appear. Overall, it’s a stable, consistent, reliable sign — feet firmly on the ground, knowing it must be fed first for life to flow.
Collectively Speaking
We have been through a period of upheaval and confusion on Earth: not knowing weather we are coming or going, if we should decide this or that, whats really right or wrong. What we think we know has been shaken.
But individually, it will depend on your natal chart as to how it effects you - where Taurus is seated, and where Uranus and Aquarius are also placed.
So let me break this down according to my own chart, to give you an example:
A Personal Astrology Reading
Taurus rules my 10th house and I have Kiron and MC (my midheaven) here. Aquarius rules my 7th house of relationships and contractual agreement, and my Uranus is seated in my 5th house in Sagittarius.
Lets break this down, and then you get a better understanding of personal chart readings for when I do them for you:
The 10th House
The 10th house governs career and public image. It’s where people see you — or don’t. It reflects your leadership style (or lack of it), how you structure your work, what you do long term, where your power lies, and how your masculine energy is functioning and expressed.
This house has an outward facing quality. It’s all about reputation, recognition, and visibility in the world. Because of this placement, it can indicate fame — or at least the level at which you are known.
Ultimately, it shows how others perceive you in relation to all of the above.
To note, other houses matter too when it comes to career — the 2nd for skills and talents, the 6th for daily work — but I’ll save that for another day.
Chiron
The wounded healer. The archetype that forces you to face wounds rooted in conditioning and outdated beliefs — the ones that no longer serve your highest good. And yes, it brings you face to face with your triggers, whether dark, confronting, or beyond comprehension.
MC (Midheaven)
The Midheaven represents career direction and vocation — what you are here to do at a soul level.
What Does This All Mean?
According to my chart, I’m meant to have a public facing career that is built over time, not reliant on sudden windfalls. One grounded in stability, heart led work, and touching others at a deep level.
My work is meant to improve people’s inner home — their connection to body, mind, and spirit — through leadership rooted in wellbeing. (Very aligned with The Tealing Garden, might I add.)
Possible expressions include wellbeing coaching, herbalism, property or home related work, interior design, or yogic therapy.
With Chiron here, things get interesting. My core wound — and I’ll share this openly, no judgement please — is self worth, self love, and self appreciation. I give it easily to others, but offering it fully to myself? That’s been the real work.
Imposter syndrome has been a recurring theme. Apparently, healing this is the catalyst for my career elevation.
So yes — I’m taking notes.
*So what does Uranus -
still lingering energetically through Aquarius season — have to do with all this?*
For eight years, Uranus has been shaking the 10th house of Aries Suns, disrupting everything connected to career, reputation, stability, and visibility.
In my case, with Taurus, MC, and Chiron involved, this meant repeated challenges to my self worth, safety, finances, home, and sense of belonging.
Lovely. Truly.
But Why Would a Planet Do This?
Why strip things away just as effort is made?
Why destabilise, humiliate, or remove basic security?
Why push someone to question their sanity or their place in the world?
To show you what I mean, here are just a few examples from my last eight years — all very on point for Uranus:
• Home, finances, and Chiron activation:
Renovating a campervan with love and dedication, selling it, handing over the V11, then being falsely accused of scamming - my UK bank of 20 years blocked all my accounts without investigation. Two months later: flowers and chocolates as a so called apology. No accountability. Of course I no longer bank with them.
•Career and self worth wounds:
Building fully booked yoga and meditation classes in multiple studios, only to be dropped without explanation — despite student demand. In one case, I was even told I was not to teach nearby when I relocated.
• Professional credibility:
Being hired for content writing (I’m a qualified journalist also), having my work used for weeks, then suddenly being told it wasnt to guidelines — with no prior feedback or edits requested on any of my work. This made absolutely no sense. I even sent the content to various people to check if they thought the same and they didn't.
• Safety and stability:
Moving into numerous different apartments over the last few years, only to discover drug dealing downstairs throughout the night, constant noise and fights outside my window in one place in a good area of UK. Another highlight was moving to Bali, renovating a beautiful townhouse for air b n b then finding out there was a structural leak in the kitchen, black mold that had been covered up only to emerge a few weeks in (no smell btw), various constructions and noise surrounding me on the daily (starting 7am and also on weekends) - off key karaoke until the early hours, large musical ceremonies across the creek, drilling by neighbours renovations right outside my window, and another hit and miss neighbours the other side that sometimes wanted to have a pool party at 5am. To note - none of this was visible on when I viewed the place.
The underlying theme — until April 2026 — home and safety foundations being broken, not being heard or listened to when I speak up, being shut down, falsely accused, belittled, and made to question my reality.
The Lesson Uranus Brings
You cannot control the outside world — its chaos, instability, jealousy, or projections.
But you can cultivate your inner world.
Your inner safety. Your self belief. Your self worth.
By choosing authenticity, kindness, love, and integrity — especially when wrongly accused or attacked — you protect your soul.
Meet cruelty with love, and it becomes very difficult for the other person to remain in hatred. Love and compassion are the highest frequency available, always. Although I know from experience it is so hard to sit in that space when someone is being mean to you. I know. I really do. But try it. It works.
Uranus has also taught me this: people act from their own conditioning, wounds, and awareness. You cannot persuade or manipulate your way out of someone else’s perception, even though there are communication techniques that make you believe that you can. They may work temporarily, but long term, the person will still do and react the way they feel from inside.
So focus on what is right for YOU.
Live a life that is aligned with your values — not puppeteered by trends, opinions, or sheep like behaviour that pulls you away from what actually makes you happy. So that when life throws you mouldy lemons - continuously, you are still moving from your inner light, your dharma, your inner freedom.
