My experience of Libra's has been mixed; some sitting at the head of fair compromises and healthy social circles, while others seem to live life in extremes, never really finding the balance between the two nor being comfortable with sitting in their own shell.... always being pulled in the direction of the other.

We all have it in us. Nobody is exempt although they may tell you otherwise; maybe preaching their religious commitments and promoting their charitable endeavours.

One cannot live without the other in life because without the other, the opposite cannot take any form of its own.

Its exactly the same in Astrology.

Each Star Sign has its dual counterparts. And thats why reading an astrology chart isn't just as simple as explaining all the astrological planets, houses, degrees and aspects. Its about explaining how if things are out of balance the shadow of a particular Star Sign in whichever house, planet, degree and aspect it is in, will come through.

That being said the Sun, Moon and Ascendant (rising sign) hold the biggest weight in personality in a birth chart reading. So when we are looking at the natural personality traits of a person we have to consider the light and shadow of these particular planets/ placements.

As a basic overview, when looking at an astrology chart, the sunshowcases where a person shines bright, the moonis a focus on the emotional world ,and the ascendantis what I like to call the mask or the ego of an individual- which is normally the facade we give when we first meet people or how others can see us at a first glance.
