Chiron in Aries
Chiron has been in Aries since February 18th and dear lord, as an Aries have I felt it. If you are a fellow Aries or you have heavy Aries placements you will know this hasn’t been easy but you’ll be also glad to know that Chiron moves into Taurus on June 19th 2026 until 2034!! With a retrograde period back into Aries in August 2026. Its a reminder that the good thing about Astrology is, that we all get our fair share of it at some point, we all need to go through hard placements to come out a better version of ourselves on the other side and the planets help us do that, although it may feel hideous at the time! So its a good job you are into astrology and are able to connect and help yourself, knowing what’s coming in and what’s going out regarding the cosmos. (Of course you also need to know your chart well to get the best guidance out of it.)
What is Chiron?
Chiron is the wounded healer, it’s the place where we feel a wound, something we deeply struggle with at the core. It’s the trigger point, the oil that doesn’t mix with water, the river running in the opposite directly. But when we face it, concur it and move through it we heal ourselves and also revise our lineage, those closest to us and those who will come next after us. We become more conscious, more evolved and have an awareness that was previously lingering in the dark, unsure if it could even step into the light
The House of your Chiron will tell you the temperament of the wound you hold - we all have one btw! The degree will tell you the flair and maturity or purity of the wound, you could also consider this a wound you’ve been carrying for many years if its near to the 29-degree mark. The planets its aspecting – conjunct, opposite, square, trine etc will give the dynamic of the wound and how it relates to/ influences other areas of your life.
On a scientific note, Chiron is classified as a centaur and mimics comet like activity, so without getting to into physics I just wanted to let you know that its not actually a planet. Oh and interestingly it naturally sits between Neptune and Jupiter – between spiritual awakening and expansion when all on good terms, or disillusion and confusion if off key.
From Aries To Taurus - Chiron makes Its Move
So Chiron has been breaking open and looking at the shadow of Aries, for us collectively, since 2019 – impatience, impulsiveness, bluntness, egotist these are all traits of Aries when in shadow. For all good reason this helps us all be more patient, more courageous, diplomatic, honest and more humble. Of course if there has been major resistance to this energy then maybe nothing has been learned and you will find yourself going back to being a bit if a bull in a china shop within the area that Aries sits for you. For instance, in the 7th house, that would be relative to your long term relationships or marriage arrangements.
As Chiron moves into Taurus in June 19/20, there is a highlight on the home both externally and internally. This concludes to a sense of home, sense of being, sense of connectedness. And senses in their own right, because Taurus is ruled by Venus and loves to indulge in all sensual pleasures. However that may look for you, this will now start coming forward in relation to the house and aspects of Taurus you have.
Just a reminder that I can find out where all your Aries and Taurus placements are, through a personalised reading. Have a look HERE.
A Personal Example
To give you an example. I have my Chiron in Taurus in the 10th house, so this is going to be a very heavy aligned transit for me. Giving me a grand opportunity to face this wound without any filters. The interesting thing is with my Chiron is that its at 29 degrees, and this actually means clairvoyance. And whats even more interesting is having spent the last few weeks in Shree Peeya Nilaya ashram in Germany, I have felt this part of me alot stronger than before. All the Kriya, chanting, devotional and yoga practices have opened up a completely new part of me that is somewhat familiar, but just felt it had been sitting in cobwebs. I have noticed that without even being near other people I am able to tune into what’s going on with them - their energy, their life, their thoughts. So I better continue my practices. My biggest challenge however is how to deicifer what is mine and what i'm picking up from elsewhere. But as Chiron moves into Taurus in June, he's somewhat supporting me through this process, but being rather demanding resolving and afflictions. Oh I cant wait ! (secretly and partially terrified if i'm honest haha)
Thank You For Astrology
All in all, The way I see challenging transits is like a clearing, going through each part of the mind, body and spirit and seeing what it can let go of. So if in general you have a hard time letting go, now maybe the time to start so you can make space for yourself to outgrow who you have been, and into who your soul really wants to become – straight ahead, into the night and follow the north node (your highest timeline) until morning.
